The original massive action figures were a four piece from Leicester likened to early Idlewild and Cable. After pissing around and generally achieving nothing for two years the band finally split, due to musical differences and the onset of university, in the summer of 2002 when, whilst having already lost a singer, drummer Seb left to join Five Green Bottles. It wasn't until Christmas time of that year that a suitable replacement was found in the shape of ex fatal nose bleed drummer Edward Jadowski.
The new MAF sound focuses more on melody than simply making a lot of noise, but that doesn't mean they've turned in to The Stereophonics. Check out the downloads from this site and make up your own mind.
