At age 19 and studying Access To Music in Leicester, Chris
has been writing
music for over 5 years yet has never taken his acoustic material
too
seriously, viewing it as more of a distraction from his band
work. Recently
though it has become apparent that if Chris were to continue
to work on his
solo projects with more focus then anything is possible. With
a solid base
of song built around an acoustic guitar, his expressive voice
and a head
full of ideas, Chris has begun to write new material as well
as re-work some
of his older stuff. He is a regular performer at Access' acoustic
gigs which
has given him the opportunity to improve his live performance
with much
success. With some gigs planned for the upcoming year in and
around the
midlands Chris should fast become a regular on the acoustic
circuit.
Drawing on influences such as the Counting Crows and Bruce
Springsteen and
throwing in some rock sensibilities, his unique blend of powerful
melodies
and strong guitar playing make him one to watch for the future...
