Tenebrae started life as a tight-as-you-like covers band playing Slayer, Fear Factory, Pantera and Machine Head. From bars to bike festivals they played over fifty live performances across the East Midlands over a two year period…
IN 2001 Tenebrae began a completely new attack on the British extreme scene. Tenebrae locked themselves away to get their chops harder and tighter than ever before. A new way of song writing developed out Instinctive riffs, arrangements and grooves seemed to just leap out from nowhere. Raw aggression and intense power combined with melody and dance beats gave the band a new sound and a new direction.
Totally revitalised with a set of original material and more enthusiasm than ever they have returned to the gigging scene playing a series of intense live shows. Spurred on by audience reaction to the new material honed on the live circuit, a representative sample has been made available on C D and in digital format, in order to spread the sound of Tenebrae further across the planet.
