Vinod Sharma leads the Eastern Arts project. Vinod has been involved in Bhangra since the age of 11 and learnt Bhangra in India, where he developed the reputation as a most promising student and talented choreographer and dancer.
He came to England at the age of 25 and and established a Bhangra team called Nachda Punjab with Indian youth association in Leicester, which performed at many local, regional and national events and festivals.
Recently, he established the Eastern Arts senior Bhangra team, who has performed at Raw Talent Street Arts Festival, Leicester in June 1999, International Arts Festival, Stockton in August 1999, Filbert Street football ground and Leicester as part of the Dewali celebrations in November 1999.
